WCNC-TV Six News Emmy nominations

Charlotte, NC -- WCNC-TV/6 News receives 28 nominations in the 2003 National Academy of Television Arts and Science Mid-south region Emmy awards. WCNC total nominations are the most of any television station in the Charlotte market. Further, WCNC received more nominations than any other entrant from the Mid-South region. The region includes Nashville, TN, Raleigh-Durham, NC and Huntsville, AL.

"It's gratifying to be nominated but more important is the professional recognition of the great work produced by everyone at 6 News day in and day out.
