Channel 11 to provide live Super Bowl coverage
Houston, TX -- KHOU-TV Channel 11 will broadcast more than fifty hours of live local Super Bowl coverage beginning January 22.
As the exclusive television partner of the NFL Experience, 11 News is the only local TV station allowed to broadcast its newscasts live from the NFL's interactive theme park inside the George R. Brown Convention Center.
As the exclusive local television partner of Houston's Super Bowl XXXVIII Host Committee, KHOU will provide viewers a unique look inside the festivities on Main Street beginning Wednesday, January 28.

KHOU will broadcast its fourth and final prime time super bowl special, Countdown to Kick-Off tonight at 7pm. In addition, Channel 11 will broadcast a pre-show to the NFL Gospel Celebration featuring national gospel artists and local gospel talent on Friday, January 30th at 6:30pm. The pre-show will take place at Miller Outdoor theatre and is free and open to the public. The NFL Gospel Celebration begins at 8pm at Reliant Arena. Tickets are available at TicketMaster locations.
