NewsChannel 8 to rebroadcast Tim Russert interview with President Bush Saturday, February 14
Portland, OR -- Due to viewer response, NBC's "Meet the Press" will have an encore broadcast this Saturday, February 14, from 7-8 pm on KGW Northwest NewsChannel 8.
The program featured an exclusive interview with President Bush in which he responded to questions regarding his decision to invade Iraq. The program originally aired on NewsChannel 8 on Sunday, February 8 at 6 am.
"Meet the Press" normally airs either at 6 am or at 10 am on NewsChannel 8 depending upon NBC's live sports schedule. As a service to the community, NewsChannel 8, will rebroadcast the program so that more viewers can see the program in its entirety.
"Meet the Press" will preempt "Your Northwest Garden with Anne Jaeger," which airs at 7 pm and "Hollywood Squares Weekend" at 7:30. They will return to their normal time periods on February 21.
