WHAS-TV wins May sweeps for seventh consecutive ratings period
Louisville, KY -- For the seventh consecutive ratings period WHAS11 News is clearly the number one local news operation in the region. WHAS11 News is number one in the time period, Monday through Friday, at 5 a.m., 5:30 a.m., 6 a.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Here are some of the highlights:
M-F 5 a.m. WHAS11 News is number one in the time period.
M-F 5:30 a.m. WHAS11 News is number one in the time period.
M-F 6 a.m. WHAS11 News @ 6 a.m. is number one in the time period and has a 56% share lead over WKLY-TV, a 77% share lead over WAVE-TV, and a 204% share lead over WDRB-TV.
M-F 12 noon WHAS11 News @ Noon is number one in the time period growing its lead-in share of audience by 57% from ABC's "The View". WHAS11 News at Noon delivers 6% more audience share than WLKY-TV and 67% more than WAVE-TV.
M-F 5 p.m. WHAS11 News @ 5 p.m. is number one in the time period and has a 60% share lead over WAVE-TV, and a 24% share lead over WLKY-TV.
M-F 5:30 p.m. WHAS11 News @ 5:30 is number one in the time period and has a 61% share lead over WAVE-TV, and a 40% share lead over WLKY-TV.
M-F 6 p.m. WHAS11 News @ 6 p.m. is number one in the time period and has a 52% share lead over WAVE-TV and a 41% share lead over WLKY-TV.
M-F 11 p.m. WHAS11 News @ 11 p.m. is number one in growth of audience from 10:45pm to 11p.m.. WHAS11 grows audience share 28% from its ABC prime time lead-in and ties WAVE-TV as the second most watched local news at 11p.m. WHAS11 News increased its rating 13% year-to-year.
