NewsChannel 8 tallies another clean sweep for KGW-TV in May sweeps

Portland, OR -- KGW-TV completesanother strong ratings performance, markingthe ninth out of the last 10 sweeps KGW has finished first in every news time period. It also marks the remarkable accomplishment of 18 consecutive sweeps that KGW has been number one sign-on to sign-off, dating back to February 2000.

Once again, Northwest NewsChannel 8 won newscasts at Sunrise (5 a.m.-7 a.m.), as well as the 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., & 11 p.m. weekday newscasts and every weekend newscast, as well.
