AlDiaTX.com launches new Web site design with enhanced features

Dallas, TX -- AlDiaTX.com, the Spanish-language Web site affiliated with Al Dia, the daily Spanish-language newspaper, announced today that it has launched a new Web site design providing enhanced usability and a new MemberCenter registration system, offering its users a convenient way to become AlDiaTX.com members and enjoy full access benefits to news, features and services.

AlDiaTX.com, a recent Edward R. Murrow Award winner for the best non-broadcast affiliated Web site, is the latest Belo Interactive web site to launch the "Interactive Customer Experience" (ICE) site design, created to establish a new standard of interactive excellence for all Belo Interactive Web sites. Improvements include increased speed and improved design, allowing for easier and more efficient access to the news and information that users expect on AlDiaTX.com. Visitors can personalize the site by choosing from several color schemes and changing the article text size. Plus, the new design allows for each page to expand or contract to the width of the browser window automatically.

AlDiaTX.com has also launched a new MemberCenter offering its registered members quick access to any area of Belo Interactive's 24 sites including AlDiaTX.com. The streamlined registration process provides members an account management system to easily update their account information, instantly modify their email address and password, and manage various online subscriptions, e-mail alerts, newsletters or other information services. AlDiaTX.com's registration system also provides advertisers the opportunity to target their online messages, allowing advertising campaigns with a specific message to be delivered to a defined audience.

"We are implementing the highest standards of design, content and functionality within our site to create the best experience possible," said Gilbert Bailon, publisher and editor of Al Dia. "The new and improved features on AlDiaTX.com give us the ability to offer personally tailored content and advertising, which increases the relevance of our content to consumers while providing advertisers advanced targeting capabilities."

Launched in September, 2003 AlDiaTX.com features comprehensive and updated news and information produced by the largest Spanish-language news staff in the Southwest.
