Free workforce career fair set for October 26

Providence, RI -- A free Workforce Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 26th, from 12 noon to 5 p.m., at the Rhode Island Convention Center, Downtown Providence. The event is sponsored by The Providence Journal. More than 19 companies will be on hand seeking applicants in a wide range of positions.

There'll be a free resume critique service by professionals from Rhode Island's colleges and universities and the Rhode Island Department of Labor. Part of the free resume service includes resume distribution to all participating companies.

The Clothing Collaborative also will be on hand to conduct a free "Dress To Get The Job" seminar at 1:30 p.m.
