Access Belo, Belo's single sign-on online capability for employees at all locations, is being re-activated on Wednesday, September 21. The system's capacity has been expanded to ensure that all employees can use Access Belo without experiencing delays or other problems. With Access Belo, employees can use the same sign-on ID and password to directly access Belo's Intranet and to update online employee profile information. In Dallas, employees can also send visitor notifications directly to the corporate security department without going through another sign-in screen.
With the reactivation of Access Belo, employees who have not completed the password security registration process will be required to do so the next time they try to access Belo's Intranet. Once this registration form has been completed, an employee can change his or her single sign-on password online without having to contact the Help Desk.
Other phases of Access Belo for all Belo employees, including single sign-on access to KRONOS, Employee Self-Service, and synchronization of Access Belo and network passwords, will be re-launched in the near future. Belo employees at all locations will be updated when each of these phases of Access Belo is added.
Current users of other systems, such as PeopleSoft HR and Financial systems and OSI systems, will receive e-mail alerts when these systems are included in the Access Belo network.
