Access Belo to Include Employee Self-Service on Oct. 12 & KRONOS on Oct. 15

Access Belo single sign-on online capability is being expanded for employees at all Belo locations on Wednesday, October 12, at 8 p.m. CDT to include the Employee Self-Service system.

Effective Wednesday evening, once an employee signs on to the Intranet, he or she will not have to re-enter their user name and password to also access Employee Self-Service.

Other PeopleSoft HRMS functions will also be added at that time to the Access Belo network for members of the HR and Payroll departments.

On Saturday, October 15, at 10 a.m. CDT, the KRONOS timekeeping system will be added to the Access Belo single sign-on system for all Belo employees at all locations.

All Belo employees already have the ability to access the Intranet and update their employee profile information with their single sign-on password through Access Belo.

In addition, Dallas-area and KENS5 employees who use their employee ID number as their user name already have the ability to synchronize their network password with their Intranet password. If they have not done so already, these employees will need to change their network password or their Intranet password to take advantage of this Access Belo feature. Everything else will happen automatically. By changing either the network or Intranet password, an employee at these locations is also changing the other password, resulting in a single sign-on password that gives access to both the system network and the Intranet.
