Channel 11 Wins 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Newscasts in February Sweeps
Houston, TX -- Channel 11 finished strong in the February sweeps period according to Nielsen Media Research. 11News won both early newscasts at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. 11News finished a close second at 10 p.m. by less than one rating point (M-F).

The Channel 11 programs finishing first in the February rating period are; The Oprah Winfrey Show, 11News at 5, The CBS Evening News, 11News at 6 and Wheel of Fortune, 11News This Morning finished a strong second in the morning time period. Houston is the nation's tenth largest television market.
