Channel 11 Broadcasts Rodeo Special
Houston, TX -- KHOU-TV Channel 11 will broadcast a live rodeo special, "Stars of the Rodeo" on Wednesday, March 15 at 8 p.m. from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
The hour long special with Whitney Casey, host of Channel 11's "Great Day Houston" and Nelly Gonzalez, host of Channel 11's Latin program, "Houstonisimo" will feature interviews and celebrity profiles of some this year's top rodeo performers, including Clay Walker, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Ann Womack, Raven and comedian, Larry the Cable Guy.
"It's always exciting to interview celebrities and performers," says Casey. "You never know what will happen and what they'll say. We hope to give viewers an inside look into the lives and personalities of these celebrities viewers may not have seen before."
"Stars of the Rodeo" will feature highlights of the celebrity performances and their special moments at the rodeo. In addition, the special will give rodeo updates for fans to see how their favorite rodeo performers are scoring in the competition.
