Channel 11 Spotlights Texas Stars in Upcoming Prime-Time Deborah Duncan Special

HOUSTON -- KHOU-TV Channel 11 will broadcast a prime-time special, "In the Spotlight with Deborah Duncan," on Saturday, April 22nd at 7 p.m. The hour-long special will pay tribute to the Lone Star state, featuring interviews with some of the state's most well-known celebrities.

The show will include an exclusive interview with baseball Hall of Fame legend Nolan Ryan. Join Deborah as she visits his Texas ranch and takes a sneak peek into his personal life after a powerful career that spanned 27 years, including nine seasons with the Houston Astros.

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt dishes with Deborah about the secret of her success and why her role as Miranda on the hit CBS show "Ghost Whisperer" has generated some unusual invitations from her fans.

A quick trip to New York City landed Deborah in front of former CBS News anchor Dan Rather. Rather talks with Deborah about his life-changing career, his family, and the teachers who inspired him and changed his life at an early age.

Come along as Deborah talks with country legend Willie Nelson just before he takes the stage to perform a benefit concert. The native Texan speaks about his passion to entertain, his support for the community, and his never-ending commitment to help the environment.

This is the third prime-time special for 11News This Morning anchor Deborah Duncan, who has been with Channel 11 since December of 2002.
