Belo to Hold Annual Meeting of Shareholders May 9
DALLAS Belo Corp. (NYSE: BLC) will hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders at 11:00 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, May 9, 2006. The meeting will be held in the Pavilion at the Belo Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue, Dallas, Texas. Management will report on the Company's operations and on voting results for director elections and the appointment of Ernst & Young, LLP as Belo's independent registered public accounting firm.
The meeting will be simultaneously Webcast on the Company's Web site ( www.belo.com/invest). To listen to the live Webcast, access www.belo.com and select "Investor Relations." Following the conclusion of the Webcast, a replay of the annual meeting will be available on Belo's Web site.
