11NEWS/Houston Chronicle Poll

HOUSTON -- KHOU-TV Channel 11 and the Houston Chronicle have teamed-up to conduct a poll of more than fifteen hundred people to determine political preferences in the upcoming election.

The telephone survey of likely voters both locally and statewide was conducted between October 23 and October 25th to determine the possible outcome of the U.S. Senate and Governor races as well as the District 22 Congressional seat.

The results of the poll will be featured on upcoming 11News broadcasts and on khou.com. 11News will be conducting exit polling on Election Day. Those results will be part of 11News coverage election night, November 7th.

11News will provide election updates during regular programming after the polls close and will broadcast an election special, "Texas Vote 2006" from 9pm until 10pm election night and an extended edition of 11News at 10 from 10pm to 11pm.
