Channel 11 Spirit of Texas Toy Drive Set to Begin

HOUSTON -- KHOU-TV Channel 11 and the Salvation Army are teaming-up for The Spirit of Texas Toy Drive. The month-long effort begins November 20th and runs through December 20th.

The annual drive will help make the holidays brighter for needy children throughout the area. New, unwrapped toys will be accepted at Randalls, Casa Ol Restaurants, Keller Williams Realty locations and Channel 11 at 1945 Allen Parkway.

The Spirit of Texas Toy Drive is Houston's largest toy drive which began in 2001. Last year, the drive generated more than 21,000 gifts for area families. Those needing assistance may apply through the Salvation Army by calling (713) 752-0677 or logging on to www.salvationarmyhouston.org
