WFAA-TV/DT Launches O8SIS An Innovative New Web site Designed for North Texas Women

DALLAS -- You know how great it feels to just kick back and share an evening with the girls? With that in mind, WFAA has introduced a fresh, new information Web site designed specifically for north Texas women.

"It's called o8sis.com," said WFAA president and general manager Kathy Clements," a fun place for women to browse, learn and connect each day. We think it will be a quality touchstone for north Texas women on a variety of fronts."

That's o8sis: it features writers, reporters and contributors from WFAA and other sources including The Dallas Morning News, Quick and more. It is focused on style and beauty, parenting, entertainment, relationships, health, food, shopping and entertainment all with a local flavor.

"O8sis is the brainchild of women (and men) on our staff, with plenty of cool features designed just for the site tons of information and a depth of original content crafted to help simplify, educate and maybe even spice up the day," said Clements.

The Web site launched earlier this week and is available at o8sis.com.
