KING 5 Wins Fourth Consecutive Regional Edward R. Murrow Award For Overall Excellence
Investigative Team and KING5.com Receive Additional Awards
SEATTLE, WA - KING 5 announced today that it has won regional Murrow awards for Overall Excellence, for its Investigative News Series on Nursing Home Cons and for KING5.com. Historically, KING 5 won the national Overall Excellence award in 2006; the KING 5 Investigators won five regional Murrows in the last five years; and KING5.com has been recognized as the Outstanding TV Web site in two of the last three years.

The Radio-Television News Directors Association has been honoring outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971. Murrow Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Edward R. Murrow made a standard for the broadcast news profession.
