WHAS-TV Charles Wolfertz Named Director of Sales

Louisville, KY - The WHAS11NEWS Station an ABC affiliate announced today that Charles Wolfertz will become Director of Sales effective in June. Wolfertz comes to Louisville from Belo Corp. station WFAA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Dallas, Texas where he served as both Local Sales Manager and National Sales Manager since joining Belo in March 2002.

In making the announcement, Rick Keilty, Belo's Senior Vice President said, "Chuck has enjoyed a great deal of success at WFAA and brings to WHAS experience in all facets of the sales process."

Prior to his tenure at WFAA-TV, Wolfertz served as Sales Team Manager for TeleRep, Inc. in Atlanta, GA from May 1999 to March 2002 and, as Account Executive for TeleRep in Philadelphia, PA from December 1995 to May 1999.

Wolfertz is a 1994 graduate of Gettysburg College, where he majored in Political Science.
