Northwest Newschannel 8 Leads All Portland Television Stations With Six Emmy Awards

Portland, OR - KGW-TV Northwest NewsChannel 8 was the winner of six awards given by the Seattle chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). NewsChannel 8 received six of the seven awards given to Portland commercial television stations in a competition that included the Seattle market. Northwest NewsChannel 8 captured several of the most coveted awards for journalism, including the top awards for evening newscast, breaking news, and continuing coverage.
