KENS 5 Welcomes New Sportscaster
San Antonio, TX - KENS-TV announces the addition of Emmy Award-winning sports reporter Dyrol Joyner to the KENS 5 sports team.
For the past two years, Joyner has been a sports reporter for WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he worked at Fox Sports Net in Chicago, WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C., WEWS-TV in Cleveland, as well as for stations in Colorado, New York and North Carolina.
"Dyrol excels at all aspects of covering sports." said KENS 5 President and General Manager Bob McGann. "We were especially impressed with his extensive experience covering some of the premiere sports teams in the country, including the Jordan-era Chicago Bulls. Joyner will join Karen Grace, Ross Palombo and Jared Silverman on the weekend edition of KENS 5 Eyewitness News Joyner will begin his sports anchor duties at the end of this week.
