Impressive November Performance Makes KREM2 The Inland Northwest's #1 Choice for Local News
Spokane, WA -- More people watched KREM 2 NEWS than any other local newscast in The Inland Northwest, according to Nielsen Media Research's November sweeps report. KREM 2 NEWS at Noon, 5, 6, 10 and 11 p.m. were #1 in their respective time periods. KREM 2 NEWS at Noon, 5, 6 and 11 p.m. were the only newscasts to grow audience share year-to-year in each of these time periods. Altogether, KREM 2 newscasts totaled more rating points throughout the week than any competitor.

Led by the market's veteran anchor team of Randy Shaw, Nadine Woodward, Tom Sherry and Tom Hudson, KREM 2 NEWS solidified its growing news leadership by adding the top-rated newscast at 11 p.m. Monday-Friday. KREM 2 NEWS remains strong through the weekend, with the #1 newscast Saturdays at 5 p.m., tied for #1 Saturday at 6 p.m., and #1 Sunday at both 5 and 6 p.m.
The "Price Is Right" remains a television fixture as the leading program 10am-11am, increasing audience share year-to-year. KREM 2 NEWS at Noon extended its dominance in the market with a 6.3 rating/30 share more than tripling the competition at that hour.
The Oprah-Dr. Phil combo handily beat out its daytime competition once again, beating its nearest competitor by 70 percent.
KREM 2 NEWS at 5 p.m. cemented its place as the Inland Northwest's source for news and Stormtracker 2 weather information with an impressive 10.5 rating/26 share in HH. KREM 2 NEWS at 6 p.m. also extended its #1 position with year-to-year gains in both ratings and share.
In prime time, CBS is tied for the #1 network share, powered by monster hits such as CSI and CSI Miami, Survivor, Navy CIS and The Unit.
Additionally, KREM 2 NEWS at 10 on sister station KSKN 22 remained the #1 source for news in Primetime with a 2.6 rating/7 share Monday-Sunday.
