KVUE Continues to Dominate Austin Television Ratings

Austin, TX -- KVUE is once again the most watched television station in Austin, according to Nielsen Media Research.

KVUE led the pack from sign-on to sign-off Monday through Sunday with a household rating of 3.4 and a 9 share.

KVUE News, once again, was rated #1 in every major newscast Monday through Friday. KVUE's "Daybreak" at 6am won its slot for the eighth straight ratings period with a 2.7 rating. KVUE's 5pm newscast nearly doubled the ratings of the closest local competing newscast, earning a 7.1 rating. "KVUE News at 6" won for the fifth straight time with a 6.5 rating and KVUE News Nightbeat (at 10pm) won its coveted time slot again by finishing with a 6.1 rating.

"Weekend Daybreak" on Sunday, continued as #1 in the market, earning a 2.2 rating. KVUE's Sunday 5:30pm newscast captured the lead position with a 3.3 rating. Plus, KVUE's Sunday 10pm newscast continued as Austin's #1 late news on Sundays with a 6.3 rating.
