KTVB Remains Market Leader in News Ratings

Boise, ID -- KTVB News Channel 7 extended its winning streak against all news competition in the May 2008 Nielsen ratings period. The NBC affiliate owned by Belo Corp. once again posted major victories in all newscasts, maintaining its long held position as the #1 choice for news in the Boise market.

According to the Nielsen research, KTVB is the most watched station for morning news, noon news, news at 5pm, news at 6pm and news at 10pm, Monday through Friday, in all key demographics. The Nielsen data in fact illustrates that more viewers depend on News Channel 7 for their news than all other stations in the market combined.
