Two Familiar Faces Join WHAS11's Cardinal Sports Network

Louisville, KY -- WHAS11's Cardinal Sports Network (CSN) is proud to announce the additions of Paul Rogers and Kyle Draper to its broadcast team. Rogers is the new host of "Kick Off with Coach K", Coach Steve Kragthorpe's show. Draper is the new host of the "Cards Big East Report", CSN's monthly athletic department show.

Rogers, has been a sportscaster with 84WHAS radio and WHAS-TV since 1973. Rogers currently is the morning sports anchor on 84WHAS and serves as the play-by-play announcer for University of Louisville football and basketball. In addition to his work with U of L, Rogers has worked for Churchill Downs calling the Kentucky Derby and Breeders Cup for both radio and television. Rogers has been voted "Kentucky Sportscaster of the Year" three times by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. The Associated Press has also honored Rogers on numerous occasions with the "Best Sportscast in Kentucky" award.

Kyle Draper has been with WHAS11 since 2003 and was recently named the station's Sports Director. The Philadelphia, PA native has covered U of L, UK, and IU extensively in his five years with the station. Draper has covered NCAA Final Fours and the Rose Bowl. In addition to his sports anchor duties at WHAS11, Draper has served as the play-by-play announcer for University of Louisville lacrosse and does freelance work for Comcast Regional Cable. Draper is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Earlier this year, Louisville's Metro Council honored Draper for his community service.

Changes are also coming to "Courtside with Rick Pitino." The show will now be hosted solely by 84WHAS radio personality Terry Meiners. Meiners has been with CSN since its inception 3 years ago and continues to contribute to WHAS11 News every Friday on "Good Morning Kentuckiana."

Ari Wolfe, Doug James and Bob Valvano will continue to provide play-by-play and color analysis of any University of Louisville football and basketball games produced by WHAS11's Cardinal Sports Network.
