KMOV Recognized for News Excellence
Mid-America Emmys give News 4 Their Most Prestigious News Award
St. Louis -- KMOV took the most prestigious news award night at the 2008 Mid-America Emmys Saturday night. News 4 St. Louis was recognized for overall News Excellence for the region including St. Louis, Kansas City, Little Rock, and Springfield, Mo. KMOV won a total of 9 Emmys including Investigative Report, General Assignment Report, and Community Service.

News 4 anchor Larry Conners was also recognized Saturday night with a Silver Circle Award "signifying 25 years or more of extraordinary achievement and service to the industry."
