KHOU-TV Honored for Station Excellence at 6th Annual Lone Star Emmy Awards

HOUSTON -- KHOU-TV/DT Channel 11 was recognized for overall Station Excellence at the 6th Annual Lone Star EMMY Awards ceremony presented by the Lone Star Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. KHOU received a total of 13 EMMY Awards in various categories more than any other station in the Houston market.

"It is an honor to be recognized for overall station excellence," said Susan McEldoon, KHOU President and General Manager. "Our team strives each day to serve our viewers, our advertisers, our friends and our neighbors. This award exemplifies their teamwork and dedication to those we serve."
