KTVB News Group Wins Five Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards

Boise, Idaho - The KTVB News Group has won 5 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA). KTVB received more honors in the 2009 regional awards than any other news gathering organization in the northwest. The Edward R. Murrow Awards are presented annually by RTNDA to recognize outstanding achievement in broadcast and electronic journalism.

KTVB was awarded in the categories of breaking news coverage, continuing coverage, feature reporting, feature: hard news and videography. The KTVB recipients include reporter Alyson Outen, photographers Gary Salzman, Troy Colson, Paul Boehlke and Mike Di Donato, assistant news director Xanti Alcelay and the KTVB staff.
