KTVB News Group Wins Three Regional Emmy Awards

Boise, Idaho - The KTVB News Group has won 3 regional Emmy awards from the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). KTVB, Idaho's News Channel 7 was the most honored television station in the Boise market, recognized for excellence in journalism in the categories of Morning/Daytime News, Spot News and Politics/Government - Program/Special. In the category of Spot News, KTVB bested the competition from all markets in the NATAS Northwest Chapter, including stations from Seattle and Portland. The recipients of the Emmy award included reporter Alyson Outen and photographers Xanti Alcelay, Gary Salzman and Troy Colson.
