KGW NewsChannel 8 Nominated for National Emmy Award for Breaking News Coverage
Station recognized for tornado coverage in January 2008
PORTLAND, OR - KGW NewsChannel 8's breaking news coverage of the tornado that hit Vancouver, Washington in January 2008 received national recognition this week.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Scientists named NewsChannel 8 as a nominee for the 30th Annual News and Documentary Awards.
KGW is one of only 3 stations nationwide nominated for spot news coverage.
