Oprah Winfrey Scheduled to Tape a Show at the State Fair of Texas in October

Dallas, Texas - September 17, 2009 - WFAA announced today that The Oprah Winfrey Show is scheduled to tape a show at Dallas Fair Park, home of the State Fair of Texas, on October 12, 2009. The station made the announcement during News 8 at 5 p.m. this evening.

"We are pleased to welcome Oprah back to north Texas," said Mike Devlin, WFAA president and general manager.

"Oprah is scheduled to be out and about, on the road across America this fall," he added, "and Dallas-Fort Worth was one of the first cities chosen for a visit."

"Oprah and her on-air contributors will be highlighting our area, and sampling the best of what north Texas has to offer. WFAA is pleased to provide assistance in bringing her to our viewers during the State Fair of Texas," said Devlin.
