WFAA Nominated for More 2009 Lone Star Emmy Awards Than Any Television Station in Texas
Station's 49 Emmy Nominations Include Station And News Excellence
September 23, 2009 Dallas, Texas - WFAA has been nominated for more Lone Star Emmy Awards again than any local television station in Texas. Emmys will be presented at a gala event on October 17, in Dallas.
WFAA has been honored with numerous Lone Star Emmy Awards since the Chapter was founded in 2003 including Station Excellence in 2003, 2005 and 2007, and News Excellence and/or Outstanding Evening Newscast in 2005 and 2008.
