KGW NewsChannel 8 Honored with Four Regional Emmys

PORTLAND, OR - KGW NewsChannel 8 was honored Saturday, June 5 with four awards in the 47th Annual Northwest Regional Emmy Awards. KGW NewsChannel 8 was the only Portland station to win in any category. The awards are conducted by the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

KGW NewsChannel 8 earned the award for best team coverage for its expansive live coverage of the January snowstorm.
