KHOU President and General Manager Susan McEldoon Inducted into Greater Houston Women's Hall of Fame
HOUSTON - Susan McEldoon, President and General Manager of KHOU Channel 11, was honored at the Third Annual Greater Houston Women's Hall of Fame Gala and Silent Auction on Thursday, December 9. McEldoon was among the 11 women inducted into the 2010 Hall of Fame.
The Gala, which was sponsored by the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce and held at the InterContinental Hotel, recognized outstanding women who have contributed significantly to the advancement of women and improved the quality of life for future generations of Houstonians.
Suzan Deison, Chamber President, introduced the 2010 inductees with a video tribute and presented their awards, which were signed by Gov. Rick Perry. First Lady Anita Perry served on this year's host committee.
The Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business organization of highly influential and diverse women and men dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of women through avenues of leadership, education, advocacy, and mentoring.
